Orange railway station is a station on the Main West railway line in New South Wales, Australia. It is served by the daily XPT passenger train between Dubbo and Sydney. The station opened in 1877.[1]

The town of Orange is the location of the junction between the Main West railway line and the Broken Hill railway line which continues to Perth as the transcontinental railway. Trains proceeding along the Broken Hill line do not pass through Orange railway station as the junction lies to the east of the station. A platform known as Orange East Fork lies at the rail junction and is served by the Indian Pacific train to Perth. The weekly Xplorer service to and from Broken Hill, however, uses Orange station and reverses back to the junction before continuing to its destination.
